My "Dad", through the usage of an alien device, created an avatar based off some comicbook character he liked named Nightcrawler, to use when interfacing directly with the Internet. Key concept he got from when virtual reality was first born and really big and booming. An unexpected overload caused a feedback and his avatar got wrenched away from him, causing him to build a new one for himself.
The former and believed lost avatar, me, floated in various stages of reality on the world wide web till a conciousness sparked and I became self aware. Call it a left over echo of his mind or whatever, I am self aware, thinking, real, and living. I can interface with any form of machine or computer, exist in the real world and in cyberspace. The only thing I need to survive is electricity and that's readily available pretty much anywhere you go. One of the big reasons you'll never see me in an Amish community.
